After your Alloclae treatment at Velo Med Spa, patients can expect a smooth recovery with minimal downtime. As a non-surgical, regenerative body contouring treatment, Alloclae is designed to integrate naturally with your body’s tissue, allowing for both immediate volume and progressive refinement.

Immediately following treatment, it is normal to experience mild swelling, bruising, tenderness, or firmness in the treated area. These effects typically peak within 24 to 48 hours and gradually resolve within 5 to 10 days. Some patients may also notice slight redness near the injection or incision sites, which can be managed with over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication such as Motrin if needed.

You may feel subtle firmness or small nodular areas under the skin—this is expected and will soften over several weeks as the product integrates and the tissue adapts.

To ensure optimal healing and results, follow these aftercare instructions:

Avoid sun exposure, UV lamps, and extreme temperatures for 48 hours

Expect mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness that peaks at 24–48 hours and resolves within 5–10 days

Mild redness may occur; Motrin can be used if needed

Temporary firmness or nodularity may be felt and will soften over time

Wear a supportive, non-restrictive bra for 1–2 weeks to support tissue integration (for breast treatments)

Resume normal daily activity the next day, but avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours

Apply cold compresses intermittently during the first 24 hours to reduce swelling

Avoid submerging the treated area (baths, pools, hot tubs) for 48 hours
Showering is permitted after 24 hours

Remove dressings after 24 hours

Continue all prescribed antibiotics until completed

Contact your provider if you experience worsening symptoms, increasing redness, or fever

Consider delaying elective mammograms for 3 months following treatment
